I've worked as a TA for both graduate and college-level science courses and have tutored dozens of high school and college students in standardized tests (SAT, APs, MCAT, etc.). While results depend on each individual, I have consistently improved all my students scores by significant margins. For SAT and SAT2 preparations, my students frequently score in the high 700s to 800 range after consistent tutoring. Similarly, for APs and class preparation, my students have all seen marked improvement in their coursework and have eventually all achieved A grades. I approach tutoring as more than preparing for a test—focusing on connecting with my student and aligning their mindsets and habits with the goals of higher education through my passion and enthusiasm for learning. My hourly rate is $90/hr standard, with multiple, 2-hour or under sessions recommended. I prefer to work intensively with my students to forge a personal, longitudinal mentoring relationship and better cater to their individual learning needs. Please feel free to contact me with any inquiries about my experiences, qualifications, or process!
