Experience
I have been a tutor since I finished high school and am now a teach at The Bishop's School. I have helped drastically improve students test scores and understanding of material by teaching how to think about problem solving rather than giving a formula. My goal is to make it so that students do not have to memorize. Instead, I want them to develop an intuition about how to approach any given problem. I am very dedicated to students, above all I want to help them in a way that is catered purely to them. I can teach with many different styles and explain things in many different ways and I use that ability to match my teaching to the student (not the other way around). I have had a lot of success and have references to that effect that I can provide upon request. In addition to the courses I have listed I have helped teach test preparation for the SAT and various AP courses that I have taken myself. Below you can find a list of the scores I have received. Hobbies
I tend to dabble in a little bit of everything. I am a bit of a sports junky (I particularly love advanced statistics in football, baseball, and basketball). I draw and paint and enjoy skiing. I also have a deep love of history and often know not only the facts of science but also the history surrounding it. I also love to converse and debate and there are very few topics that I will not engage in a discussion about.
