I am currently a Mechanical Engineer at Callaway Golf Company and looking to tutor students at any level in math. My extensive math background and strong communication skills make me a strong tutor candidate. In addition, my patient and encouraging approach to teaching truly set me apart. I recently graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Immediately upon graduation, I was hired as an R&D intern for Callaway Golf Company. As a member of the performance analysis team at Callaway Golf, I was given a number of responsibilities relating to golf club design, manufacturing, and analysis. After six months, I was hired full-time as an analysis engineer. My experience at Callaway Golf Company has provided me with valuable work experience in presenting mathematical data in easy-to-understand terms and explaining math concepts to coworkers or customers that do not possess an extensive math background. I truly believe that I can greatly improve a student’s ability to learn and comprehend math at any level.
