I attended Mexico National University, where I studied mathematics, chemistry, and physics. Upon graduating, I worked in the field of environmental chemistry as a researcher, followed by teaching high school in Mexico.I have been living in the United States for the past seven years, and last year I earned my teaching certification at California State University in San Marcos. I am certified, with a bilingual authorization, to teach chemistry. Additionally, I am working towards my Spanish credential as well.I have been tutoring since I was in university, where I helped my classmates who were struggling with chemistry. I strongly believe that every student has the capacity to learn, but each student learns differently. Because of this, it is important for the teacher to present the materials in such a manner that accommodates the student's learning style. It is important for the teacher to utilize a number of teaching styles to engage students who don't learn through the traditional teaching model.I am currently living in San Diego, California, and tutor a number of subject, including chemistry, French, Hebrew, Spanish, and general science. In my spare time, I like to work with ceramics and travel. I love to visit new places, where I am able to meet people experience new cultures.
