Experience

I am a tutor who has a deep passion for both mathematics and physics. I work with my students to make sure they understand what they are learning. I also have them explain what they have learned back to me, because I feel that once the student is able to teach the teacher in a clear manner, they have truly mastered the concept. I believe with the right amount of dedication and determination, students can achieve anything. I have worked as a tutor with the athletics department at UCSD, assisting student athletes in learning math and science subjects.I am available to work with students in the following subjects: pre-algebra, algebra 1-4, precalculus, calculus 1-3, differential equations, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, trigonometry, multivariable calculus, AP calculus AB, and physics. I graduated from the University of California, San Diego, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics. In my spare time, I love to be active, and enjoy running track and field. I love teaching (I believe that goes without saying!), being involved in the theater, volunteering with the SPCA, and fostering animals for them.
