Education

M.Sci in Physics at University of California San Diego; GPA 3.4 B.S in Physics at Brown University; GPA 4.0

Experience

I am a current student at UCSD working on my PhD in Physics. I am hoping to tutor on the side as a way for me to get more experience teaching and guiding students who are struggling with foreign concepts or having a hard time applying problem solving to new situations. I have 4 years of experience working as a tutor and 3 years as a teaching assistant at UCSD where I lectured both the 1 and 2 series set of classes covering introductory physics for premeds and engineers. I am also an excellent communicator and am able to quickly identify which problem areas for individuals students allowing them to make the bridge in the information gap easily. My clients have ranged from high school students who needed help with their AP Physics and Calculus exams to college level students who have had difficulty with the introductory physics sequence to physics majors and premed students taking standardized tests (MCAT, GRE subject test etc).
