Experience
My drive to become a tutor stems from the great impact that excellent teachers and tutors have had on my own life. I want to help my students as much as the educators in my past helped me improve. When a student learns new skills, new knowledge, and discovers their self-confidence, then they will be successful throughout their whole lives. I want to be a role model like my teachers were, helping people learn to love the educational process and to increase their critical thinking skills. My passion for medicine and human biology in particular led me to my undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont, and I am now a Physician Assistant in Cardiology at Franklin Pierce University. I have a great deal of experience with clinical pathology, so as a tutor, I have a fundamental understanding of physiology, anatomy, biology, microbiology, and pharmacology. However, I am not just a science tutor. I speak fluent French and Arabic, so I can tutor all levels of French, as well as Arabic for those who wish to learn the language. I like to work individually with my students so I can get to know them, which helps me keep their lessons dynamic and personal. I have lived overseas and all over New England. In my spare time, I like to hike and ski.
