Previous Experience: - I have participated in a program called Study Buddies in which high school students would visit elementary students at their school once a week to help with homework and to spend time with them. Getting the change to bond with my study buddy was a rewarding experience. - I used to assist with rehearsals and ballet classes at my previous dance studio. - I participated in numerous study groups that taught me how to teach and learn from my peers. I helped many friends with college application essays as well. I want to be a tutor because... - I am organized, I have patience and an eagerness to help kids learn. - I like to learn new things and gain new skills. I want to be a great tutor, so I promise to put forth all of my effort. When I went to college I saw that every student had a different learning style that was best for them and I want to help students discover how they can excel. - I hope to motivate my students to always want to learn new things and in turn, I hope they teach me something as well.
