EducationI have a Master's degree in Educational psychology (1999) and a teaching credential (2008) in mathematics. I studied at San Diego State and Addis Ababa Universities. My minor is English Language and Literature, and my GPAs for MA and the teaching credential are 3.65 and 4.00 respectively.
ExperienceI have taught and tutored diverse group of learners for over 12 years. I started my teaching career as a middle school teacher and was promoted to higher levels including colleges. I had passed the CSET Math (I and II) before I studied the teaching credential at SDSU. I wanted to be a tutor because I really enjoy helping students learn new concepts. I have always been intrigued by the process of learning and the creative pedagogy that goes into an effective learning. I have taken courses like Principles of Learning, Educational Psychology (I and II), Cognitive Psychology, and I also studied " The Study Habits of Male and Female Students..." for my undergrad essay.
One of the impressive items from my resume may be that my MA thesis was the only thesis in my class that was rated EXCELLENT.
HobbiesWriting poems, cooking, gardening, and playing and watching soccer.
