As a current English Language/English Education major at Point Loma Nazarene University I thoroughly enjoy teaching English to any age group, be it students or peers. I am completing my French minor this Fall semester.. My SAT score for reading was a 690 and 750 for writing. Also, I have taken the AP English Language and Composition test and passed with the highest score of 5. I received a 4 on the AP English Language and Literature test. Currently I am taking upper division English and world literature courses as well as Writing Theory and Pedagogy courses at Point Loma. I have done both personal tutoring as volunteer work at my old high school, Kamehameha Schools, which is one of the top schools in Hawaii, and personal tutoring at my old church's school, Windward Nazarene Academy, for middle school students. At the university I have been tutoring fellow students in English and French for two years.
