Hello! My name's Eun-Sang, but people usually call me Mike. I'm a 31-year-old, Korean-American, 10th-grade Humanities Teacher at High Tech High International in San Diego, CA. I love to surf on my 9' Murphy Shapes at the local beach breaks. I'm currently a BJJ blue belt under Richie "Boogeyman" Martinez at 10th Planet San Diego. I am an avid runner training to run my 2nd marathon in 2021. I've been on a non-fiction/autobiography rampage for the past few years and it's been absolutely amazing. I have a bachelor's in Music from the University of California, Riverside. I no longer pursue music as a profession; however, I do love to take out my ukulele from time to time and play a tune or two. Ultimately, I am passionate about my job teaching at HTHI. I get to create my own curriculum, which is exhausting at times, but always incredibly worth it. I'm focused, and eager to teach and learn from my future students. Thanks for your time.
