I have worked for my old high school district for two summers teaching summer school to junior high students, teaching English and Algebra. I took 9 AP classes in high school, passing all of them, with 4s or 5s in most subjects. I came in to college with enough units to gain Junior standing. My SAT score was a 2240. I want to be a tutor because I have enjoyed working with younger students the past couple years and I think that by sharing my experiences and knowledge with them I can help them to become better students themselves. I have taken all kinds of Calculus, plus Differential Equations and Linear Algebra. I have taken General Chemistry and Physics, plus labs in those subjects. I have taken Statistics courses and Economics courses, plus advanced courses in Bioengineering, mostly dealing with upper level mechanics. I am currently enrolled in Microeconomics, Econometrics, and am working on a Bioengineering design project. I was awarded a National Merit Scholarship in 2008.
