I love teaching and tutoring because it gives me a chance to share my excitement and love for the subject with the student. The key to achieve proficiency in any subject is to grasp its basics. This has been my motto both for managing my own studies as well as helping my students and peers in understanding subjects. My aim to is make sure that you will take home atleast something more than simply passing a course. My specialty is in the biological subjects like molecular biology, cell biology, genetics and biochemistry while I can move into basic biology and chemistry for my students. I have five years of TAing experience here and three years of tutoring students. I have tutored back home for 3 years. I try and make the subject as interesting as it appears to me. I have been lucky to have many good students who have gone on to share my love for the subjects. I am currently doing research in Genetics. The tutoring experience is important to me because I ultimately want to move into academic teaching. I have TAing experience in introductory biology, AP Biology and genetics. I have taken courses and tutored in biochemistry, cell biology and microbiology as well as other advanced topics in biology.
