Having two years of experience tutoring the sciences, I feel confident I could help any student build a greater understanding and enjoyment of the subject matter. At UCSB, I studied Biological Sciences taking courses in General Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Ecology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology and many other science courses. I would love to share my enthusiasm for the sciences with struggling students and help them achieve the higher grades they desire. While the sciences will be my main focus, I have also taken many math courses and am confident I could help students succeed with this difficult subject. Relevant course I have taken include Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus and Statistics. I will cater to each student's needs, helping with the current classwork as well as bring in outside resources to ensure his/her understanding. I will do whatever it takes to help each student succeed, and through this commitment I hope to build his/her confidence in all aspects of their schoolwork.
