My rate for group lessons are: $150 for small groups (2-3 students) - this is the best deal: If you split the cost with 2 or 3 of you, it is only $50-$75 for each of you for an entire 3 hour surf class. My surf lessons include: 1) Water safety 2) Stretching techniques 3) Proper wave selection (how to catch the best waves and how to see the signs of approaching waves) 4) Proper board positioning and style (different ways to safely navigate into the line-up and how to look good while riding a wave) 5) Surfing history and terminology (what surfers mean when they use words like set, line-up, duck-dive, pearl, etc.)
