Experience
I have been a tutor since I finished high school and am now a teach at The Bishop's School. I have helped drastically improve students test scores and understanding of material by teaching how to think about problem solving rather than giving a formula. My goal is to make it so that students do not have to memorize. Instead, I want them to develop an intuition about how to approach any given problem. I am very dedicated to students, above all I want to help them in a way that is catered purely to them. I can teach with many different styles and explain things in many different ways and I use that ability to match my teaching to the student (not the other way around). I have had a lot of success and have references to that effect that I can provide upon request. In addition to the courses I have listed I have helped teach test preparation for the SAT and various AP courses that I have taken myself. Below you can find a list of the scores I have received. SAT Math: 800* SAT Reading: 700 SAT II Subject Test for Chemistry: 800* AP Statistics: 5* AP Chemistry: 5* AP Physics B & C: 5* AP Psychology: 5* AP Language: 4 AP Literature: 4 AP US History: 5* AP Calculus AB/BC: 5* *Signifies maximum possible score on an exam
