I have graduated from UC San Diego with a multiple-subject teaching credential and a Master of Education. I also have a single-subject teaching credential for Mathematics. I graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in Psychology.
Experience
I am currently a Kindergarten teacher. Last year I taught 6th/7th grade math and science. Before that, I was a reading intervention teacher. I am passionate about STEM education and music. I've volunteered and taught in a lot of classrooms ranging from preschool all the way to high school seniors, so I can work with any age range. I want to tutor because I know how to study and I have good organizational skills that I can teach to younger children. I want to help them learn something that is difficult to understand. Through professional development, I have learned different strategies and methods for helping students develop conceptual understanding and gain procedural fluency.
