Thank you for clicking on my profile! A bit about myself, I graduated from UCSD with a B.S in Bioengineering, Biotechnology in 2012. I have been working in the Biotech industry ever since. I am currently an Automations Systems Engineer at Illumina where I program robots to autonomously run diagnostic tests. At UCSD, I was part of a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) outreach program, where I traveled to underserved communities to encourage K-12 students to study the math and sciences. With patience and enthusiasm, I have mentored and trained new graduates in laboratory techniques and data analysis, which ultimately helped me discover my passion in mentoring others. I can explain complex concepts using metaphors and simple english. In my spare time, I love to go ocean fishing, ride my motorcycle, work on my car, and snowboard in the winter time.
