Experience
I have been teaching political science at the University level since 1995--at CSU San Marcos, the University of Redlands, six years at Grossmont College, and at the University of San Diego since 2006. During the course of my studies, I spent three different years studying and writing in Germany and have published several scholarly articles and papers. I really enjoy helping students succeed in their studies, which requires more than reading and memorization. More important are critical thinking, research and writing skills which I have worked to develop over several years. I am am also the advisor to Model United Nations at USD, a program that helps boost those skills while building self confidenceat the same time. I would be very pleased to work with your high school or college student if you believe I could meet your needs.
