Teaching is not a "one size fits all" process. Every student has different needs and different learning styles. Sadly, because of class sizes and time restrictions, teachers do not have the abilities to meet every student one on one with their needs during regular classroom hours. This is where tutors can step in and assist in the learning process. I believe there are no dumb questions, and I encourage students to ask me about anything confusing in their subjects. I will do my best to find the answers if I don't already know them. With over three years of tutoring experience, I believe I have developed the correct skills and mindset to allow students to succeed. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of California-Santa Barbara. While attending this college, I was given the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Queensland in Australia. Presently, I am working toward my master's degree at the University of San Diego. I am also projected to begin working with Hubbs-Seaworld Research to discover the optimal nutritional needs for the facility's larval fish.I am a San Diego native. Outside of the classroom, I consider myself to be an active person. I enjoy surfing, fishing, snorkeling, hiking, and snowboarding.
