While growing up, I used to do math for fun with my dad, who is an electrical engineer. It became a part of who I am, and because of that, I very much enjoy math. I have a lot of experience working with students, having started a peer mentorship program in high school that was similar to a Big Brother/Big Sister program. As part of this program, a high school student worked with a student in elementary school. I also worked as a peer tutor in high school, and have served as a teaching assistant in college as well.I am at San Diego State University currently, working toward a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. I am originally from Issaquah, Washington. Math and science are my two passions, but I am comfortable working with students on any subject that they need help with, including SAT and ACT prep, study skills, and English.In my spare time, I enjoy meeting new people, going to the beach, lifting weights, and mountain biking.
