I am a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering major at UC San Diego. I have been tutoring since the tenth grade. My true strengths lie in the areas of Mathematics and Physics. In addition to all levels of math, I am qualified to tutor your student in Science, English, SAT Prep, and other subjects. I have always enjoyed helping others to meet their educational demands. I am an avid, hardworking student, and as a tutor I do everything I can to take pressure off of the student, giving them the tools to organize and boost their confidence, which I find is very empowering. I think teaching is its own reward, and I think the positive attitude that I bring to each tutoring session is infectious. I believe it is important to engage each student in a way that excites and empowers them. I am still in contact with the family of the first student I ever tutored, and see this as a testament to the connections I have forged while tutoring. When not working or studying I like to run, go cycling, and climbing, as well as box and lift weights. I am a firm believer in physical fitness. I look forward to working with your student!
