I went to San Diego State to earn my bachelor's degree in international business. I also happen to love learning and teaching languages. I speak Spanish natively, and I'm also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. I've been able to solidify language skills for opportunities to study and work in the United States, China, and South America. In China I taught both Spanish and English to elementary school and middle school students, and also as a tutor. I tutored for three years independently. I've developed the ability to change my teaching approach to meet the student's needs and help them have fun learning. In my free time, I enjoy ultimate Frisbee, hiking, sailing, traveling, and learning languages and cultures.
