Private tutor in San Diego, CA

Education

UCSD - BS, Molecular Biology

Experience

I have five years of experience tutoring at UC - San Diego and Mesa College. During that time I put in hundreds of hours helping students learn physics, biology, chemistry, and math topics. Mesa College awarded me with a tutor of the year as well. My students have been very successful learning material and raising their grades. I explain difficult concepts in ways that are easier to understand, and I reduce anxiety and frustration over learning obstacles. I can tutor students in algebra one and two, calculus one through three, elementary and middle school math topics, multivariable calculus, pre-calculus, trigonometry, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, biology, mechanics, optics and light, electricity and magnetism, genetics, and more. I earned my bachelor's degree at UC - San Diego in molecular biology. I'm currently attending the University of Alabama for my doctoral degree in molecular medicine. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, rugby, movies, and books.
