Hello, I'm Esther, from San Diego, California. I completed my college education at San Jose State University, and the University of Phoenix - Albuquerque Campus in Arizona. I have more than seven years experience teaching Spanish, from beginning Spanish all the way through Honors Spanish. I love languages, and am fluent in both English and Spanish. In addition to my Spanish teaching, I have also taught high school English. I have been tutoring for over ten years. In my free time I love to play soccer and have played in many adult soccer leagues. I love the outdoors and my favorite soccer team is Real Madrid.I have had the privilege of studying with excellent teachers whose influence has helped to guide me throughout my life. I aspire to be that kind of positive and inspiring role model for my students. In addition to being fluent in Spanish, I am also familiar with Spanish culture and enjoy weaving that knowledge into our study of language. I enjoy helping students discover language, and have many tools at my disposal to support and guide them. I am available to tutor students in all levels of Spanish language as well as English reading and writing, ESL/ELL, and GRE.
