I am a tutor located in San Diego, California. My passion for helping others learn began in high school when, as the debate captain, I acted as a coach to younger members of my team. As a Political Science major at the University of California San Diego, I focused on developing conclusions based on economic data and statistics. I am very analytical, and I enjoy taking facts and data and using it to articulate a story. A lifelong learner with a passion for developing others, I plan to attend law school to further my education. I enjoy mastering new skills both academically and in my personal life, and this positive outlook on learning translates quite well to the students I tutor. I currently teach students Math and Science in an after school program. I am very skilled at tutoring in a variety of subjects that include Reading, Writing, Math, Biology, Earth Science, Business, Public Speaking, Reasoning, Government, Politics, and Economics. I also often work with students on building solid study habits, organization, SAT test preparation, and ACT test preparation. When I'm not working with students, I enjoy playing and watching sports, cooking, and music. There is something very rewarding about developing oneself and others.
