Experience
I did six months volunteer service in 1st and fourth grades at Tiffany Elementary tutoring in various subjects such as basic math, reading and writing. For the job I had as a tutor for A Better Tomorrow Education I helped students in Kindergarden, 2nd grade, 5th grade and 7th grade in basic reading, reading as well as pre-algebra. I have taken Literature courses from British Literature, American Literature, World Literature, and other non literature classes such as Philosphy, lower and upper division rhetoric and writing classes and U.S History. I did very well getting either an A or a B in each of those classes. I want to become a tutor to use my experience I've gained in the classes I did well in and help other students with said knowledge. This also helps my goal in becoming a professor in higher education. By helping students today I can become a better educator when I do become a professor. From January 2016 to May 2016 I tutored students in 4th, 6th and 8th grades in reading, writing, basic bath, critical thinking and analysis.

Hobbies
I like reading various novels in a library or at home. I also like building models because of the discipline involved, but also the fact that I accomplished something which is time consuming much like a novel. I enjoy the library because of the stress-free setting it can have on not just myself, but any student that I help. Many students I've talked to said they like the setting because it helps them focus.
