I have two graduate degrees and I'm a published author. I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to adults at the university level for 5 years. I have a master's in teaching English to speakers of other languages (MATESOL) from Anaheim University. I also have a background in history, political science, and Chinese. I received my BA from the University of Oklahoma, an MA from the University of Oklahoma.

I'm an enthusiastic teacher looking for ways to make information more accessible and easier to learn. I get excited when my students learn a difficult concept. I love to work with international students. I've had over 30 countries come through my classroom. I also enjoy learning new languages. I'm currently working on Spanish, Arabic, and Chinese. While I know how difficult it is to be fluent, I still try because I find it fun. I also like the outdoors, running with my dog, going to the beach, and being a pretty terrible surfer.
