Experience

In high school, I have had the opportunity to work for two years in the Math Mastery program, an after school program focusing on helping students who have failed in algebra. By working closely with students to teach them the core algebraic terms, they were being taught a foundation to learn upon. I have also worked at my high school for one year in their more general after school tutoring center, helping students every day in various subjects. I also have had the chance to work outside a school environment as a personal tutor to ESL elementary school students for two years. With multiple experiences in work environments, both academically and professionally, I have learned to quickly adapt to different situations and specialized concepts. As a Psychology minor, I have had the opportunity to take many classes which have given me a better understanding of effective ways of communicating and teaching adolescents as well as teenagers. During high school, I participated in a number of Advanced Placement (AP) classes, which I have received the scores: 5-Calculus AB, 5-Calculus BC, 4-Physics, 3-English. My score on the SAT was 1400 in the previous SAT grading system. My formal resume is available upon request for those who would like to see it. If you are interested in a dedicated worker with the required credentials, patience, and positive attitude, feel free to contact me. Thank you for taking time to read this. I look forward to working with you.
