Education
I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University in May of 2004. I was a political science major and business management studies minor. After Syracuse I worked in the business world for two years before attending law school at the University of Miami School of Law where I earned my J.D. (12/08). I was able to earn a full scholarship to attend the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Last year I earned my Master of Education degree from Harvard. While at Harvard, I was a Zuckerman Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership. My girlfriend works in the tech start-up world and got an offer that she could not turn down late last summer. We made the move from the Boston area to San Diego and couldn't be happier here. I had been working at the High Tech High charter schools as a long term maternity leave sub while studying for the California Bar Exam.
Experience
I enjoy tutoring because I enjoy working with young people and helping them realize their full potential. I am currently balancing working as a substitute teacher while studying for the California Bar Exam. While subbing I have begun to tutor students outside of school and enjoy seeing their confidence in their academic abilities grow after our sessions.

Hobbies
Being from the South (Florida), I love college football and can be found on Saturday's during the fall cheering on my Miami Hurricanes. I also enjoy playing sports and staying active in addition to watching them. Another favorite past time is traveling and exploring new places (as well as my relatively new surroundings in San Diego). I am also a big animal lover and adopted a labradoodle (mixed with various other dog breeds) named Shockey a few years ago.
