Education

BS in Biology PhD in Phyiology, Pharmacology, Morphology and Physiopathology of the Nervous System

Experience

I taught in a number of courses beginning when I was a PhD-student at the University of Sassari and continuing during my time at Catholic University Medical School in Rome. In both universities I taught theoretical and practical Human Physiology classes to medical and biotechnologist undergraduates. My desire to engage, challenge, and inspire growth in my students is not limited to the classroom. Over the time that I was at the University of Sassari, Catholic University Medical School in Rome and University at the Piemonte Orientale I was the research mentor of five undergraduates for their thesis, and the research mentor of more than a dozen of undergraduates for their hours of practical training in the laboratory. I attempt to inspire growth in my students by giving them tools to take into other disciplines and into other domains of their life. Among these tools are a sense of curiosity, open-mindedness, and a thirst for knowledge.
