Experience
I am an East Coast native who sought warmer climate and moved to San Diego about a year ago. My animals and I are very happy here; what a neat city! Despite graduating from Salisbury University in Maryland with a Communications: Public Relations/Journalism degree, I found my way into the education field. For three years, I worked as a full time substitute teacher, grades K-12. I continued my schooling while teaching and completed numerous classes in the Education Field. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English/Language Arts, Reading & Writing. The Sciences and History interest me as well. I enjoy finding creative ways to accommodate each students learning style. My devotion and patience towards each student enable them to thrive in an educational setting. When I'm not tutoring, I find time to take my dogs to the beach, or ride my horse. I enjoy the relaxation found in reading and writing as well.
