I attended San Diego State University, where I obtained my bachelor's degree in French with a focus in Spanish. I have also studied in other countries, including France, Spain, and Mexico. I enjoy foreign travel, and have spent several years living in other countries. I lived in Mexico for ten years, and also spent several years in Europe. While in Mexico, I worked as the Professor of Advanced English at UABC, one of the state universities. I also worked for the United Nations as a translator.I work as an international speaker, giving speeches and presentations at universities. I assisted with the program known as "No Child Left Behind," and worked with struggling students in English and Math. My experiences has provided me with extensive knowledge on subjects and languages. When it comes to tutoring, I offer assistance with French and Spanish, working with beginners and also those whose language skills are more advanced. I also help with basic Math, including Middle School Math and Arithmetic. I offer English assistance, and can students in Grammar and Mechanics, Essay Editing, and even Public Speaking.My goal as an educator is to communicate with my students to understand what they truly need in order to learn. I understand the influence a teacher can have on children, and do my best to listen to them and make them feel comfortable.In my free time, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and camping.
