Experience
I enjoy learning just as much as the student does. Whether or not I've seen a type of problem a number of times, its always been enjoyable for me to help a student envision their own solution to a problem. I like to hear a student's response after they figure out how to solve a problem. Very often in fact, I find through them, new ways to think about and solve the problem. It is just as much as a learning experience for me as it is to them. Being a tutor will allow me to understand what students have trouble on. It will strengthen my responsibilities as a role model and gain further understanding with the difficulties that lie with the subject.
