Experience
I have been working with children since I was twelve. In that time i have been a: Vacation Bible School leader Irish dance teacher Camp Counselor After School Program 'worker Volunteer in several classrooms in several grades I want to be a tutor because it is good practice and experience teaching It give me a chance to work on and develop my own skills as a teacher while helping students develop theirs. Most of my classes in college and in my credential/masters program centered around how to engaged and teach students of different learning backgrounds and styles. There were a few classes that focused specifically on how to teach a particular subject such as science, math, and language arts. An added bonus, I know how to do common core math. As part of my masters program, i have also learned how to use educational technology to engage students and make learning more fun.
