I attended San Diego State University, and I now work as an elementary teacher. I am hoping to work with students as a part time tutor.I have experience working alongside a number of students from different backgrounds and skill levels. I tutor elementary to middle school mathematics, reading, and writing. In addition, I can help students overcome struggles in algebra one and two, geometry, English as a second language, phonics, literature, grammar, American history, global politics, and social studies. I also teach advanced classes, and can help students improve their standardized test scores in the SSAT, ACT, and ISEE.I am confident that, through proper research, I am able to tutor a student in almost any subject. It is my personal goal to assist students in the learning process by helping them understand the content, as well as giving them the skills needed to study independently.In my spare time, I love exercising, playing with dogs, and paddle boarding.
