I'm a credentialed teacher with over 10 years experience adept at scaffolding instruction for gifted, general, and special education populations in 1-on-1, small group, and classroom settings. I help K-12 students save their grades, tackle tests, and get back on track, providing the homework help and study skills necessary to process and master their curriculum more effectively! A bit about myself: I'm a proud, native San Diegan happy to be home after spending my last three years on the East Coast as a New York City Teaching Fellow serving high need classrooms. I completed my dual Master's degrees in Childhood Education (with Middle School Extension) and Students with Disabilities with honors while teaching full-time before heading back to town so my wife and I can raise our now 2 year-old daughter near her California family. I teach in Mission Hills, live in East Village, and am able to host tutoring sessions in either location. I'm also more than happy to travel around the county to serve students across San Diego.
