I am a recent graduate (2015) of Claremont McKenna College with a B.A. in Science and Management, which is a combination of pre-medicine and economics. I am currently applying to medical school and am taking a gap year. I was one of the top students in my class. I graduated Cum Laude with a cumulative GPA of 3.82. I also attended Francis Parker High School in San Diego, CA, where I first found my love for science and learning.
Experience
I have spent countless hours studying biology, chemistry, physiology, psychology, biochemistry, and organic chemistry. My hard work has payed off as I have been recognized for my academic excellence. I have spent my summers working at a cancer research laboratory and at a biotech company, where my scientific knowledge was put to functional use. I recently took the MCAT and scored in the 91st percentile overall, scoring in the 97th percentile for the chemistry/physics and sociology/psychology sections. I unofficially tutored many students in these subjects in college and am now I looking to do it professionally! I enjoy challenges and consider myself an excellent problem solver. I love meeting new people and generally get along with everyone.

Hobbies
Although I love school, I have many other interests. At Claremont McKenna College, I was a captain and player on the Men's Tennis Team. My senior year, as captain, I helped lead the team to win the NCAA Division 3 National Championships after an undefeated regular season. This was one of the best moments of my life. I greatly enjoy traveling and have gained many insights from my study abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark.
