I am a Senior Psychology Major at the University of Texas at Tyler. I recently moved to California, and am taking courses online. I started college as a Nursing major, but after taking an introductory course in Psychology, I became infatuated with how the mind works. I am not officially minoring in anything, but most of my elective courses involve health.
Experience
I want to help students not just succeed, but thrive in a field where they were previously struggling. I do not have formal experience tutoring yet, but I have helped my younger brother, a high school junior, in his English courses. I have also led study sessions with classmates in both Anatomy and Physiology, and Psychology courses, and have been told I am a good teacher. I made an A in college level Anatomy and Physiology, had a composition from an English course published in a University journal, and received multiple college scholarships based on my application essays alone. I also believe that a successful student is organized, and I can help with organizational skills as well.

Hobbies
I am a full-time student, so most of the time I'm doing homework, or studying. In the evenings, I like to spend time with my husband. In my free time, I enjoy a wide variety of activities. I like to paint and craft, cook, solve puzzles, watch movies and TV, listen to music, do yoga, and go on walks.
