My name is Lixian and I live in San Diego, CA. I have attended the University of Pennsylvania and California State University - San Marcos. I have a master's degree in mathematics, as well as a master's degree in biology. I have taught undergrad biology and math classes while studying as a grad student. I also privately tutored after my college years. I get enjoyment from tutoring children and adults of all ages. This is especially true when I am helping someone get ready for the more advanced tests and coursework.I am not only interested in assisting people, but I have a passion for education. My tutoring philosophy is that all methods of teaching should be tailored to the student's specific requirements.I am well versed in a variety of subject matters, such as all levels of algebra and calculus.
