I tutor languages and help my students become confident in their abilities. Along the way, we'll have some fun too. I went to the University of San Diego to earn my Spanish degree, also studying German. I love learning languages, and I have developed skills to teach them effectively as well. I have a good understanding of language mechanics, and I can provide effective lessons that teach these mechanics in ways that are easier for students and fun to learn. I provide my students with patience, enthusiasm, energy, and devoted attention in every session. My success is dictated by the success of my student, and I want students to enjoy their learning experience and to achieve success. To provide multiple learning modalities, I will utilize flash cards, drills, music, videos, and scenarios for us to practice speaking the language together. In addition to Spanish, I can also tutor ESL using similar tactics. In my spare time, I like to get outside for hikes, read, do yoga, and visit the dog park.
