Education and helping others are two things that I am passionate about. I have been teaching for more than a decade. I enjoy helping others who struggle with math, the way I once struggled with it. The first few years of my career were spent teaching at the elementary level and now for the past seven years plus I have been teaching high school algebra. My favorite feeling is realizing that I helped a student fully understand material that they once struggled with. As far as my education, I have a bachelor's degree in Communication and a MBA. My teaching credentials include special education and elementary education. My MBA endorses me to teach business and mathematics as well. Right now I am working on my Administrative Credentials. In addition to being a teacher, I spent twenty-two years in marketing and sales. My previous experience in the corporate world combined with my years of teaching helps me relate math to the real world for my pupils. In my spare time, I enjoy watching football and baseball, my two favorite teams are the Seahawks and the Padres. I can be found at a game or two when I have the time. I also have two dogs and a family that I love spending time with.
