Experience

Hi! My name is Ruth. I am currently applying to medical school and would love to help out anyone who needs help studying for the MCAT. I have 5 years of tutoring experience, from helping out high schoolers after school, to TAing college students in undergrad. In addition, I have two years of professional teaching experience as a biology teacher (I taught biology and AP biology) and a Master's degree in education. As a current medical school applicant myself, I understand firsthand the stress and challenges the MCAT can impose on us. Most test prep companies charge over $120/hour for private tutoring, but I'd be happy to help out for a more reasonable price that we can agree upon on a case-by-case basis. I scored 520 (98th percentile) on the January 23, 2016 test, currently work in research, and can help you with your application essays as well!
