Education

I graduated from High Tech High in Point Loma in June of 2015, with a GPA of 4.17. I am currently a sophomore student at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. I am not yet declared but hope to attain a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Interdisciplinary Writing. I currently have a cumulative GPA of 3.4. I hope to graduate in May of 2019.

Experience

I believe that my experience in school as a peer-helper in the classroom has helped me to be compassionate when supporting a student in learning. I want to be a tutor in order to help kids struggling in various subjects. I am not yet declared a major at my university as they do not allow students to do so until their fourth semester, but I am planning on getting a minor in Interdisciplinary Writing.

Hobbies

In high school, I played a variety of sports in order to try to stay active and hang out with a diverse group in school. Those sports included volleyball, cross country, and rugby. I also picked up acoustic guitar and played in my youth group. In college, I have become involved with writing for my school's newspaper, playing clarinet in the marching band, and taking advantage of any and all writing opportunities I can find.
