Experience

When I was in high school, I really struggled with chemistry and math. I worked hard to keep up with those subjects, but everything was in vain because I did not understand the basics. I hated chemistry and math to the point that I did not want to go to school, but this all changed with the help of a patient tutor. Now, I have a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and have dedicated my life to the sciences. Moreover, I maintained GPA of 3.9 in my math and science courses throughout my studies. Interestingly, my tutor's profound impact and my dramatic transformation occurred only in the span of a few months, so I really believe in the tutoring process. My own experiences have driven my passion for tutoring/teaching. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate career, I officially tutored undergraduate students in general and organic chemistry and calculus I and II. I love tutoring because I feel that I can improve student's life dramatically based on my own experiences. It gives me the greatest satisfaction to be a part of that positive change. Moreover, both tutor and student have the opportunity to learn from each other.
