Experience
I currently work as a staff research chemist at UCSD in La Jolla. I have graduated with a degree in chemistry from the University of Delaware, but am originally from Pasadena, California. I have vast industry experience working in chemistry as well as academic experience through high school and college. I have taken two semesters of General Chemistry and Biology and have completed a year each of Organic and Physical Chemistry as well as a semester each of Ecology, Physiology, biochemistry and environmental chemistry. I graduated from South Pasadena High School in 2009 and took AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Calculus there. I also worked as an Intern for Peregrine Pharmaceuticals in Tustin, CA, working in Quality Control. I think chemistry is really interesting and enjoy helping other people understand why I like it so much.

Hobbies
I enjoy watching and playing sports, namely soccer, baseball and football. I spend my evenings watching TV/movies or reading a good book. I am very personable and patient and I truly enjoy teaching and helping people learn. I started tutoring when I was a junior in college and now have over 10 years of tutoring experience.
