I currently reside in Boston. However, I have also lived in Brooklyn and New Orleans. While living in Brooklyn and New Orleans, I taught history to students. I also have experience teaching English and math. I love tutoring students, and I do my best to cater to their own individual needs. I am there for assistance, whether it be for test preparation, bringing grades up, or simply helping a student comprehend a complicated passage. I love taking the hobbies and interests of my students and somehow connecting those interests and hobbies to what they're learning. This keeps it fun and interesting for the student. It also helps them focus on what I am teaching them. I have my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Tulane. I also have my master's degree from Fletcher School at Tufts. When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking and being outdoors. New England has a lot of exciting and fun outdoor activities that I love to take advantage of when time and the weather permit. I also remain up to date on current events and enjoy a good book, especially if it's about history.
